"Gelderland III" 

As third of this series the Gelderland (III) has be transferred to Wijsmuller on 30th November 1963. Sister ship of the Groningen, also built in Kootstertille by Kramer & Booy.  Contents 598 gross tons, length b.p.p. 158'-4", breadth mld. 33' and depth 15'-6" . The two Werkspoor diesel engines giving a total output of 2950 I.H.P., in 1970  the total output is increased of 4200 pk. On 3th March 1976 by entering the port of San Juan at Puerto Rico the tug   grounded on the rocks, in June 1976  the tug has be sold for scrap, in 1977 demolished on the spot .
